How to Cook a Cheesy Garlic Baked Chicken

What more could one ask for than a cheesy meal on the weekend! Today we have in store for you exactly that and a bit more, a scrumptious meal to churn on this weekend. We present to you the cheesy garlic baked chicken and trust us this will not take too much of your time in the kitchen. So what’s the wait let’s get your utensils rocking!

Before you set up your working station, the most important thing is to gather the right ingredients. So you might have to pay a visit to the super market, otherwise you probably will have these ingredients in your kitchen already. So you will need the following materials in the specified quantities as mentioned below:

  • Thinly sliced chicken breast pieces – 4 slices
  • Garlic cloves – 4 cloves
  • Brown sugar – 4 tablespoons
  • Olive oil – 3 teaspoons
  • Shredded cheese – 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

The best part about this recipe is that it takes minimal effort at your part in the kitchen and the cooking time is barely half an hour or so. So we will not mar your weekend by secluding you to the kitchen, but you will get to enjoy every bit of it with your family and have a delicious feast to devour on too!!!

Additionally, you will not be using any complex procedures or appliances like electric meat grinder, so this makes the ordeal even more fun. All you will need is a working oven and a stove to do the sauce/dressing for the chicken and good high quality cookware set.

So start by following online butcher steps:

Step 1

Pre heat the oven – Pre heating the oven is the first step to be followed where you will be required to fire up your gas or electric oven and set the temperature dial to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. This will prepare the oven to bake your chicken when you are done with the dressing.

Step 2

Along with heating up the oven, you will need to prepare your baking dish. For this line up a casserole dish with tin foil and use a bit of oil for greasing it. We recommend the foil, as it will ease up the cleaning process later on. So if you do not happen to have tin foil at home, you may as well simply grease the dish. This way you will be required to put in extra effort for cleaning!

Step 3

Next up you will need to fire up your stove and get your sauté pan ready for some cooking. Line up the pan with the olive oil and sauté the garlic cloves until they are light brown and tender. This will hardly take a couple of minutes before the desired color s achieved. Once done, remove the pan from the heat.

Step 4

Now add in brown sugar to the mixture and salt to taste and stir until its properly mixed. This mixture will add the flavor boost to your otherwise bland boneless chicken strips. You may add ginger or parmesan to this if you want to, otherwise this will be enough to add the flavor.

Step 5

Now it’s time to work with the meat. You will need to place the chicken strips in your baking dish and cover it with the 3/4th of the sauce you just cooked. You can choose to sprinkle salt and pepper over this is you haven’t already in the sauce. Once done place the dish in the oven and bake the chicken uncovered for 30 minutes.

Step 6

It’s time to relax now. This is your time and you may choose to spend these 30 minutes the way you like. You might use them to prepare something sweet to go with the savory main dish you will serve to your family or friends.

Step 7

Within the last 10 minutes of taking the dish out of the oven, you will have to remove it from the oven and sprinkle the cheesy goodness over it along with the remaining sauce. And then place the dish back into the oven and let it bake for about 10 minutes till all the cheese has melted.

Step 8

Remove the dish from the oven once done, be careful don’t burn your hands; do wear mittens when doing so. The baked cheesy chicken will look wonderful but you may add a little bit of garnish to your liking and walla its ready to be served.
